I've been telling Kimberly for awhile now that all she needs to do to get
a car is to point at one and say "That!" It could have been a Porsche, Caddy, or Volvo Wagon. Anything.
Well, she finally found a car she wanted, and we got it!
It's a purple Austin Rover Mini . We thought it was a MKII Cabrio, made sometime between '67 and '69.
Turns out we were wrong. It was most likely produced in the '80s, probably making it a MKIII Cabrio, which I'm not sure
they produced. Heck, at this point, I don't even know if it was originally a convertable, or if some previous owner
got happy with a chain saw.... It's a European spec car, made in Great Britain. We hope to get it back to the
states with us, but it has to be 25 years old before it can be imported as a Classic.
Here are the pictures. We would have taken some with the top off, but it was snowing, again. You
should be able to get a feel for the overwhelming size of this vehicle by comparing it to Kimberly.
